Send us a message
State News Central handles most correspondence through two addresses. Routing your message to the right one helps it reach the appropriate team faster.
The Newsroom
Story tips, correction requests, letters to the editor, contributor pitches, and other correspondence intended for the editorial team go to editorial@statenewscentral.com. The inbox is monitored by the editors.
If your tip concerns a sensitive matter, please indicate at the top of your message whether you want to speak on the record, on background, or off the record. The publication honors any arrangement it accepts, but the terms must be settled before the information is conveyed.
General Inquiries
Advertising and partnership inquiries, technical issues with the site, newsletter and account questions, and general reader correspondence go to info@statenewscentral.com. This inbox is staffed during U.S. business hours and typically responds within two business days.
Corrections
If you have identified a factual error in a published piece, please send the article URL, the specific error, and the corrected information to editorial@statenewscentral.com. Verified corrections are handled promptly and appended to the affected article with a dated correction note.
DMCA and Legal Notices
Copyright takedown notices, counter-notifications, and other legal correspondence reach the publication through the editorial address. The DMCA Policy page describes the elements a valid notice must include.
Letters to the Editor
Letters written for publication as reader correspondence should be flagged as such in the subject line. Published letters carry the writer's name and city. The publication reserves the right to edit for length and clarity, with the writer's consent.
